What is Parkour?
Parkour is a mental and physical discipline that encourages the exploration of an environment with efficiency and control. Freerunning, a similar practice, incorporates parkour techniques but focus more on style and expression. At Forge we teach Parkour and Freerunning together as complimentary styles of movement.
Who Can do parkour?
Parkour is for anyone who is willing and able to try. No previous sport or athletic experience is necessary. Our community is welcoming, and our staff will be glad to assist you. Whether you are just starting your movement journey, or continuing it, we've got something for everyone.
What do i need to do parkour?
Absolutely nothing! But we encourage gym clothes, athletic shoes, and a water bottle. All participants need a waiver, waivers can be signed online or at the gym.
What class do I start in?
Depending on your age and schedule a new student will start in either Intro to Parkour, Parkour Fit (13+), Parkour (3-6), or Home School Classes. If you unsure of what class would be best for you please give us a ring!
